Do your kids love to color? I know that mine do! My boys will often ask my (over & over & over again) to print coloring sheets for them. The internet is full of all kinds of coloring sheets. But I thought it would be great to have a few Bible verse coloring pages for kids to color and learn scripture at the same time!
Committing Scripture to memory is such an important part of a Christian’s life & if you start teaching those Bible verses in childhood, those verses will really stick! When I was in 5th & 6th grade, I started attending a Christian school. My teacher had a system that gave us incentives to learn our Bible verses. I loved it and learned so many verses that I still remember easily almost 30 years later!
Psalm 119:11 says,
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
So, let’s do everything we can as a family to teach our children Scripture and help them plant the Word of God down deep in their hearts that they will grow up to live for God!
