Garlic Rosemary Almonds

These delicious, savory almonds make a great snack or salad topping!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups raw almonds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or oil of choice, I also use grapeseed oil
  • 4 tbsp rosemary, dried
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pinch cayenne powder use up to 2 tsp depending on you preference

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Place the almonds on a large sheet pan (I use a jelly roll pan)
  • Pour the oil and spices on top of the almonds
  • Mix thoroughly with your hands making sure to coat each almond.
  • Bake almonds for approximately 15 minutes or until color deepens. Stir half way thru the 15 minutes and place back in oven.
  • Allow the almonds to rest until cool. They will taste chew, not crispy until they are completely cooled.
